These 18th century reproductions of audobon studies are printed on museum archival paper and affixed to hand-distressed wood blocks. They hang so lovely in a grouping or as a single piece of artwork. Here's a small sampling of some of the birds coming into the shop next week.

It's Baaaaaccccckkkkk!

To say that I LOVE this searchlight lamp is an understatement. This is one of the first items I decided to put in my store back in October and it's been a popular piece every since.

If the head of the lamp looks familiar, it's because it is a reproduction of a 1930's Navy searchlight. The artist mounts these spotlights on a heavy mahogany tripod-making the light a good five feet in height, All of the gears are historically correct, allowing you to adjust and tilt the light to the exact angle that you want.

We just received a new one in the store today, and I have already started setting it up near the window!

We're in the Globe!

A few weeks ago a Boston Globe photographer came by ACQUIRE to shoot photos of the store...(we weren't sure why...)

But, it looks like THIS this was the reason!
