Play On Playa'
Thanks to Stuff Boston for naming lil' ol' me as one of Boston's 2009 Players.
I feel very honored to be named in the same breath with some of Boston's finest restaurateurs, athletes, and style makers.

Grey Gardens!
I don't about you, but I am SO excited to watch the HBO premiere of Grey Gardens tomorrow night.
Somehow, I feel like THIS brooch from Erie Basin would have fit Little Edie perfectly in her heyday.
If you have not been to Erie Basin's website, please have a look.
It is a wonderfully, well-edited selection of vintage and antique jewelry.

Reflective Lighting Makes a Comeback
You may have noticed mirrored and chrome lighting popping up in your favorite design magazines lately. Originally popular in the 60's and 70's, the eye-catching, reflective effect of these fixtures has come back into style due to their ability to highlight a space or create a bold focal point. We have three fabulous options available at the store now.
The first is a chrome ball lamp c. 1960's. It is paired with a modern, black parchment paper drum shade. This lamp works perfectly and retails for $250. SOLD
The second lamp we have available is a mirror and brass c. 1970's. This lamp is also paired with a modern, black parchment paper drum shade. It is fully functioning and retails for $225.
